Bus Transportation
Calumet School District 132 provides bus transportation for students who live in hazard zones. All students that live west of I-57 are considered to be in a hazard zone. Hazard routes are developed by determining the level of danger associated with a` child’s travel to school. Railroad crossings and highways are major considerations when developing hazard routes. The district does provide “shuttle” services between the three schools. This allows a child to walk to the nearest school and shuttle to the school they attend. Each bus has a monitor and the schedule is as follows.
